Cleaning Spray

A focused spray pattern designed for more concentrated cleaning tasks, including:

A gentler water pattern for controlled everyday rinsing, including:

The Modern 1 model provides one dedicated cleaning spray function operated by its lever.

WATER CONNECTION OPTIONS

The Tapure® spray gun can be connected to several different water supplies, depending on how you would like to use it.

Cold-water connection

Connect the spray gun to a standard cold-water supply for general dish rinsing and sink cleaning.

Hot-water connection

The spray gun may be connected to a suitably controlled hot-water supply.

A direct connection to excessively hot or uncontrolled water is not recommended. The water temperature should be set at a safe and practical level for hand-held use.

Mixed hot and cold water

For a comfortable, pre-selected washing temperature, the spray gun can be connected through a separate thermostatic mixing valve.

The mixer combines the hot and cold supplies and allows the preferred outlet temperature to be set before the water reaches the spray gun.

Thermostatic mixing valves are normally available from plumbing merchants and should be selected and installed by a competent plumber.

Filtered-water connection

The spray gun can also be connected to a suitable filtered-water outlet.

This provides the option of using filtered water for rinsing dishes, food and sink-side items. However, the strength of the spray depends on the available flow rate and pressure from the filtration system.

Please note: When connected to a filtered-water supply, the spray force may be lower than when connected directly to the normal mains water supply.

COLOUR AND FINISH OPTIONS

Choose a finish that coordinates with your main kitchen tap, sink and surrounding accessories.

Custom colours are available on request to coordinate with selected Tapure® tap finishes.

Custom colour matching is subject to availability and may involve an additional cost and extended lead time.

HOW IT WORKS

The spray gun is installed through a separate opening in the kitchen sink or worktop, normally beside the main kitchen tap.

A deck-mounted holder keeps the spray gun securely in position. When required, simply lift the spray gun from the holder and extend the flexible 1.5-metre hose.

Depending on the selected model, water is activated using either:

The lever on the Modern 1 spray gun; or
The push-button control on the Modern 2 and Traditional spray guns.

After use, return the spray gun to its holder, allowing the hose to sit neatly below the sink or worktop.
